Bhutan Dooars Tour – 9 Days

Day 01: New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra to Phuntsholing (175 km./ 4.30 hrs)

Welcome to Bhutan Dooars Tour. On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (own cost), you will be transferred to Phuntsholing. It is a border Town in Bhutan. On the other side the Indian city called Jaigaon. Over night stay at Phuntsholing/ Jaigaon.

Day 02: Phuntsholing to Thimphu (176 km./ 7hrs)

Start your journey from Phuntsholing to Thimphu. Thimphu is the capital city of Bhtan with a population of approx 1000,000. Enroute visit water falls & Chukha Hydral Project & Dam (Top View) & enjoy the natural beauty of Bhutan. Over night at Thimphu.

Day 03: Thimphu sightseeing

Today you will proceed for a full day sightseeing of Thimphu including Buddha Point, Tashicchhoe Dzong, BBS Tower, Handicraft Institute, School of Arts & Crafts, The Memorial Chorten, Semtokha Dzong, National Library, The Institute of Traditional Medicine, Changlimithang Stadium, Motithang Takin Reserve (Takin- National animal of Bhutan). Over night at Thimphu.

Day 04: Thimphu to Punakha to Paro

Start your journey from Thimphu to Punakha (90km./ 3 hrs). Enroute visit Dochu la Pass & Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. Punakha is the administrative headquarter of Punakha Dzongkhag district of Central Bhutan. Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong & Wangdue Phodrang. Transfer from Punakha to Paro (142km./4 hrs). Over night at Paro.

Day 05: Paro sightseeing

After breakfast there will be a full day city tour of Paro including Drukgyal Dzong, Taktsang Monastery (outer view), Rinpung Dzong (Paro Museum), Kichulanka Monastery, Druk Choeding, Ta Dzong (administrative building), , Kila Gompa ect. In the evening walk around the local market. Over night at Paro.

Day 06: Paro to Jaldapara National Park (7 hrs)

After breakfast drive from Paro Jaldapara National Park. Jaldapara is an important national park of West Bengal with significant population of one horned Rhino. Over night at Jaldapara.

Day 07: Jaldapara jungle safari & to Lataguri (82 km./ 2 hrs)

Early in the morning jungle safari at Jaldapara National Park. After breakfast drive from Jaldapara to Lataguri. Afternoon jungle safari at Goumara National Pak. Over night at Lataguri.

Day 08: Excursion to Sumsing Suntalikhola Jhalong & Bindu

Half day excursion to Samsing, Suntalikhola. Then drive to Jhalong & Bindu. Jhalong is a beautiful valley beside Jaldhaka River. You can also have outer view of Jaldhaka Hydral Project. Bindu is another one hour journeyfrom Jhalong at Bhutan border. Over night at Lataguri.

Day 09: Transfer from Lataguri to New Jalpaiguri/ Bagdogra (90km./ 2 hrs)

Early morning jungle safari at Chapramari Reserve Forest. After breakfast drive back from Lataguri to New Jalpaiguri /Bagdogra. Bhutan Dooars Tour ends.
